Globex Driving Academy (“GDA”) is committed to providing professional, safe, and reliable driver training services in Victoria and surrounding areas. By booking lessons with Globex Driving Academy, students agree to the following policies and terms.

1. Student Requirements

Students must meet the following conditions before taking driving lessons:

• Hold a valid BC learner’s license or driver’s license appropriate for the training.
• Be physically and mentally fit to operate a motor vehicle.
• Follow all instructions given by the driving instructor.
• Wear appropriate footwear (no flip-flops or unsafe shoes).

Driving lessons cannot begin without a valid license.

2. Lesson Structure

• Lessons are conducted one-on-one unless otherwise arranged.
• Lesson durations may include a short review and feedback period.
• Pick-up and drop-off may be available depending on scheduling and location.

Globex Driving Academy instructors use dual-control vehicles to ensure safety during training.

3. Road Test Services

Globex Driving Academy may provide:

• Road test preparation
• Pre-test warm-up lessons
• Vehicle rental for road tests

However:

• Road tests are conducted by ICBC, not by the driving school.
• Globex Driving Academy cannot guarantee passing the road test.

4. Payments

• Payment is required before or at the time of the lesson unless prior arrangements are made.
• Lesson packages must be paid in advance.
• Prices may change without notice.

Accepted payment methods may include cash, online booking, or other available payment methods.

5. Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule a lesson:

• At least 24–48 hours notice is required.
• Late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or loss of the lesson.

Road test bookings arranged through the school may require additional notice due to ICBC policies.

6. Late Arrival / No Show

If a student is late:

• The lesson will end at the originally scheduled time.
• The full lesson fee still applies.

If the student fails to appear for a scheduled lesson, the lesson may be considered a “No Show” and no refund will be provided.

7. Safety & Conduct

Lessons may be canceled immediately if a student:

• Appears under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Uses abusive or unsafe behavior
• Refuses to follow safety instructions

The safety of students, instructors, and the public is the top priority.

8. Vehicle Damage and Liability

Globex Driving Academy vehicles are fully insured.

However:

• If a student is involved in an accident and is found responsible, insurance deductibles may apply according to the insurance policy.
• Students must follow all instructor guidance and BC traffic laws.

9. Instructor Cancellations

Lessons may be rescheduled due to:

• Instructor illness
• Vehicle issues
• Severe weather
• Road safety concerns

Students will be notified as soon as possible and the lesson will be rescheduled.

10. Recording & Monitoring

For safety, liability, and training purposes:

• Some lessons may be monitored or recorded.

These recordings are used only for safety, insurance, or training review purposes.

11. Policy Updates

Globex Driving Academy reserves the right to update policies at any time.

Students will be subject to the policies in effect at the time of booking.
